Put your feet up and have a good look around. We hope to create an enjoyable space to talk science, humanism and atheism.
Building on the 'Four Horsemen', but not being limited by an ancient book, The New Horsemen are many and varied. We celebrate and discuss the work of skilled scientists, atheists and humanists like Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, Daniel Dennett, Sam Harris, Alice Roberts, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Neil Degrasse Tyson, Laurence Krauss, Madalyn Murray O'Hair and many others.
Our new blog is updated frequently with contributions from the team and covers a range of topics. We are particularly proud of our debunking articles/archives that not only try to inform but exist as a resource for anyone needing information on the topic. Of course we have a very active science news feed and an intensive resource section. This includes lists/reviews of books and films, reliable, trustworthy places to go for information and a few places to avoid, a list of logical fallacies necessary
for any debate, and a wonderful collection of pamphlets on mental

This quote from “Uncle” Carl reflects the ethos of this site, educate, inform, and occasionally
“In the way that scepticism is sometimes
applied to issues of public concern, there is a
tendency to belittle, to condescend, to ignore
the fact that, deluded or not, supporters of
superstition and pseudoscience are human
beings with real feelings, who, like the sceptics,
are trying to figure out how the world works and
what our role in it might be. Their motives are in
many cases consonant with science. If their culture
has not given them all the tools they need to pursue
this great quest, let us temper our criticism with kindness. None of us comes fully equipped."
